LENO is one of the most prestigious silk fabrics in Chinese textile history—once reserved for royalty and truly beyond luxury. Its intricate open-weave texture creates a full, airy mesh that is breathable and elegant, yet it does not reveal the skin unless held directly under strong light.

The fabric’s highly complex structure and weaving technique make production extremely limited and very expensive. Even today, with advanced technology, LENO still cannot be produced on a large scale like standard silk, preserving its rarity and exceptional value.

SILK FABRICS

CROSE silk fabrics may have a water shrinkage rate of approximately 1–20%, depending on the fabric. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

Exception: Mud Silk and Hongyunsha can be sewn directly without pre-washing.

• Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water, no warmer than 30°C / 86°F.
  
• Use a mild detergent formulated for silk or wool.
  
• Do not bleach, soak, wring or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
  
• Steam gently or iron on low heat from the reverse side.
  

NATURAL FIBERS

Cotton, linen and ramie fabrics may shrink after washing. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water.
  
• Use a mild detergent.
  
• Do not bleach or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade.
  
• Iron on low to medium heat from the reverse side.
