Silk chiffon is an elegant, very light weight, see-through (sheer) fabric with a soft, beautiful drape and matte crepe texture. Ideal for gowns that require sheer overlays, gently fluid skirts, softly gathered bodices, or flowing romantic ruffles.

Due to its delicate nature, silk chiffon requires special care when washing and handling, typically requiring hand washing with mild detergent and lukewarm water.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

⚬ Hand wash gently in lukewarm water

⚬ Machine washable on a cool/delicate cycle with delicates wash bag

⚬ Use neutral detergent

⚬ Do not use acid/alkaline/disinfectant liquid or detergent

⚬ Do not bleach, soak or wiring

⚬ Do not tumble dry

⚬ Air dry and iron silk setting

Silk fabrics naturely have a water shrinkage varies from 1~20% (pls. refer to item description) so WASH BEFORE SEWING

• Dry clean is best and recommended
• Hand wash or machine wash lukewarm (max 86°F/30°C) at most gentle cycle
• Use special detergent made for silk/wool only
• Do not tumble dry
• Hung dry or flat dry avoiding direct strong sunlight
• Steam or iron low (wool/silk) 
• Iron on the reverse side
