THE DETAILS

⚬ Material : 100% Cotton

⚬ Fabric type : Hand woven and plant dye cotton fabric

⚬ Local plant dyes, no chemical processing or finishing so color fastness is not good

⚬ All nature & green

This fabric is from the South West of China, hand woven by local industrious women. They first dyed the yarns and weave into this fabric.

It can be used for sewing table runners, door curtains, tablecloths, hanging wall arts, pillows, home decors, etc.

ABOUT OUR INDIGO

🤞 Each one is different : The indigo fabric you receive shall be slightly different than photos showing in our store as each one was hand painted/weaved and hand dyed. So each one is one of a kind.

🤞 Defects : Please also be awared of uneven dyes, color difference, spots, small holes, rough edges as they are nature for non-machine-made fabric.

🤞 Washing : There will be some discoloration during washing, so avoid soaking for a long time or using laundry detergent with bleach. Hand washing is best. Avoid mixing with white and light-colored clothes. Keep it from strong sunlight and Acidic/Alkaline liquid.

🤞 Smell : Our plant/mud dyeing indigo fabric will carry the smell of the plant itself. If you are uncomfortable with the smell, please wash several times before using.

All the Indigo fabrics are made by native Chinese people who live in Guizhou, China.

SILK FABRICS

CROSE silk fabrics may have a water shrinkage rate of approximately 1–20%, depending on the fabric. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

Exception: Mud Silk and Hongyunsha can be sewn directly without pre-washing.

• Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water, no warmer than 30°C / 86°F.
  
• Use a mild detergent formulated for silk or wool.
  
• Do not bleach, soak, wring or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
  
• Steam gently or iron on low heat from the reverse side.
  

NATURAL FIBERS

Cotton, linen and ramie fabrics may shrink after washing. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water.
  
• Use a mild detergent.
  
• Do not bleach or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade.
  
• Iron on low to medium heat from the reverse side.
  

WOOL & CASHMERE

• Professional dry cleaning only.
