Silk Organza is a lightweight plain-weave fabric made from 100% mulberry silk. It has a crisp hand, transparent structure, subtle sheen, and the firmness needed to hold shape.

Available in 60 colours, this fabric combines transparency with structure. Unlike softer silk fabrics, organza maintains volume and defined folds without adding weight. It can be layered to create colour depth while retaining a light appearance.

Suitable for dresses, skirts, bridalwear, eveningwear, sleeves, overlays, ruffles, bows, veils, costumes, embroidery, crafts, and interior details. A lining may be required depending on the colour and intended use.

PRE-SHRINKING

All fabrics must be pre-shrunk before cutting to prevent shrinkage from affecting the finished garment size.

The fabric can be pre-shrunk using either of the following methods:

1. Pre-wash the fabric in water and allow it to dry naturally.

2. Steam-press the reverse side of the fabric evenly with a steam iron.

CARE

Hand wash separately in cold water with a mild silk detergent. Do not soak, bleach, wring, or tumble dry. Dry flat or hang in the shade. Iron at a low temperature from the reverse side. Avoid crushing or folding the fabric tightly during storage.

COLOUR NOTICE

Colours may appear different due to lighting conditions, background colours, and screen settings. Due to the transparent structure of silk organza, its colour will also appear different when layered. Please refer to the actual fabric for the most accurate colour.

SILK FABRICS

CROSE silk fabrics may have a water shrinkage rate of approximately 1–20%, depending on the fabric. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

Exception: Mud Silk and Hongyunsha can be sewn directly without pre-washing.

• Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water, no warmer than 30°C / 86°F.
  
• Use a mild detergent formulated for silk or wool.
  
• Do not bleach, soak, wring or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
  
• Steam gently or iron on low heat from the reverse side.
  

NATURAL FIBERS

Cotton, linen and ramie fabrics may shrink after washing. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water.
  
• Use a mild detergent.
  
• Do not bleach or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade.
  
• Iron on low to medium heat from the reverse side.
