Soft, airy and fluid, this 12 momme silk georgette is woven from 100% mulberry silk. Its fine crepe texture gives the surface a delicate grain, while the fabric falls into soft folds with gentle movement.

Available in 60 solid colours as part of our long-term supply range, it is a versatile choice for dresses, blouses, skirts, scarves, flowing sleeves, bridal overlays and layered garments. Light colours and single layers are sheer; a lining may be needed for your project.

PRE-SHRINKING

Pre-shrink the fabric before cutting. Test a small piece first, using the same gentle cleaning method planned for the finished garment. Allow the fabric to dry naturally and avoid stretching it while wet.

CARE

Hand wash separately in cool water with a mild silk detergent. Do not soak, bleach, wring or tumble dry. Dry in the shade and iron gently on the reverse at a low silk setting. Test washing and pressing on a small offcut first.

COLOUR NOTICE

Colours can appear different under different lighting and on different screens. The background and number of layers also affect the appearance of this sheer fabric. Match the numbered colour option to the English colour chart. Dye lots may vary; order enough fabric for your project at one time.

SILK FABRICS

CROSE silk fabrics may have a water shrinkage rate of approximately 1–20%, depending on the fabric. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

Exception: Mud Silk and Hongyunsha can be sewn directly without pre-washing.

• Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water, no warmer than 30°C / 86°F.
  
• Use a mild detergent formulated for silk or wool.
  
• Do not bleach, soak, wring or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
  
• Steam gently or iron on low heat from the reverse side.
  

NATURAL FIBERS

Cotton, linen and ramie fabrics may shrink after washing. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water.
  
• Use a mild detergent.
  
• Do not bleach or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade.
