ABOUT SILK GEORGETTE

Georgette is a type of crêpe fabric made from polyester ( polyester georgette is mostly seen in fashion market) or pure silk. Our silk georgette is made in 100% mulberry silk, which made it a very luxury fabric.

Silk Georgette is very similar to silk chiffon, but not as sheer because of the tighter weave. It is more durable, better drape and wrinkles less. Firm as cotton, and easy to care for.

Ideal for making summer dresses, bridesmaid dresses, skirts, blouses, evening dresses, lounge pants, scarves, fashion accessories, doll clothes, curtains and home décor.

🌺 CARE INSTRUCTIONS

⚬ Hand wash gently in lukewarm water.

⚬ Machine washable on a cool/delicate cycle with delicates wash bag.

⚬ Use neutral detergent.

⚬ Do not use acid/alkaline/disinfectant liquid or detergent.

⚬ Do not bleach, soak or wiring.

⚬ Do not tumble dry.

⚬ Air dry and iron silk setting.

SILK FABRICS

CROSE silk fabrics may have a water shrinkage rate of approximately 1–20%, depending on the fabric. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

Exception: Mud Silk and Hongyunsha can be sewn directly without pre-washing.

• Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water, no warmer than 30°C / 86°F.
  
• Use a mild detergent formulated for silk or wool.
  
• Do not bleach, soak, wring or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
  
• Steam gently or iron on low heat from the reverse side.
  

NATURAL FIBERS

Cotton, linen and ramie fabrics may shrink after washing. Pre-wash before cutting and sewing.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water.
  
• Use a mild detergent.
  
• Do not bleach or tumble dry.
  
• Dry flat or hang in the shade.
  
• Iron on low to medium heat from the reverse side.
