Most fabrics are sold by the yard or meter, depending on the listing. Simply choose the length option and quantity to make your required length.

The quantity depends on the unit shown in the selected length option. For a 0.5-yard option, Qty 1 equals 0.5 yard, Qty 2 equals 1 yard, and Qty 3 equals 1.5 yards. For a 1-yard option, Qty 1 equals 1 yard and Qty 2 equals 2 yards. Multiple quantities will normally be cut as one continuous piece.

Most of our fabrics are kept in regular stock. However, some heritage silks, limited editions, or newly released fabrics may have limited availability. If an item is unavailable after you place your order, we'll contact you promptly with suitable options.

Cut fabric is cut to your requested length and cannot be returned or exchanged unless the wrong item was sent or the fabric has a confirmed defect.

Returns or exchanges are not accepted due to colour differences once the fabric has been cut. To ensure the right colour, we recommend ordering a sample before purchasing yardage.

No. Natural silk may show slight slubs, texture variations, or subtle shade differences. Heritage silks, such as Mud Silk, may also display hand-finished characteristics. These are part of the fabric's natural beauty and are not considered defects.

Yes. All silk fabrics may shrink and should be pre-shrunk before sewing. Mud Silk and Hongyunsha are the only exceptions, as they have already been pre-shrunk during the traditional dyeing process.

We recommend soaking the fabric in cold water for 10–15 minutes, then air drying naturally before sewing. Avoid hot water, tumble drying, or direct sunlight.

Most silk garments are best dry cleaned. If hand washing is suitable, use cold water and a mild silk detergent. Avoid soaking, bleach, wringing, and tumble drying.

Yes. Iron on a low silk setting while the fabric is slightly damp, or use a pressing cloth. Avoid high heat.

Store silk in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep garments clean and dry before storing.
