ABOUT
Silk Hualuo is a traditional Chinese jacquard silk distinguished by its refined openwork weave. The fabric features evenly distributed micro-perforations that enhance breathability while remaining non-sheer, making it exceptionally light and comfortable for warm climates.
This fabric is crafted using the heritage mud silk process, where the silk is repeatedly dyed with natural gambier (shuliang) and finished with mineral-rich river mud, resulting in its signature deep, earthy reddish-brown tone and soft, structured hand feel. The combination of Hualuo’s airy texture and the organic mud-dyeing technique creates a unique balance of elegance, durability, and natural beauty.

All fabrics are carefully inspected before shipping and guaranteed to match their descriptions. All silk fabrics are authentic and contain no imitation fibers.
If your fabric arrives with a confirmed defect or damage, please contact us within 3 days with photos for a replacement or refund. Natural variations in silk texture and color are not considered defects.
Due to the handmade process, fabrics may naturally have minor black spots, white or brown marks, color stains, or subtle irregularities—especially on the back side. Edges may show small holes, slight color differences, or minor scratches within 5 cm of the cut.
Please note:
Each handmade fabric piece may differ slightly in color, texture, and character. We recommend buying enough fabric for a single project at once to ensure consistency.

Fabric width is fixed. Silk fabrics width are 110cm, 114cm and 140cm. While 138cm, 140cm for Ramie/linen fabrics and 150cm for wool cashmere fabrics.
Fabric length can be cut✂️ to length you purchased.
Fabric length is sold by 0.5 yard - some of them sold by 1 yard or fixed size - and you can select the quantity you want at the drop down menu. For example if you want 1 yard, please choose quantity as 1.
When you choose 0.5 yard per unit:
Qty 1 = 0.5 Yard
Qty 2 = 1 Yard
Qty 3 = 1.5 Yards
Qty 4 = 2 Yards
... and so on
